Flipz Team

Our coaching team are fully qualified under IGA (Independent Gymnastics Association) and are dedicated to creating a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment where gymnasts of all ages and abilities can thrive.

Our team supports each child’s journey, helping them to build skills, grow in confidence and develop a life-long love for gymnastics.

All of our coaches age 16+ are required to have a full DBS check as well as complete safeguarding and first aid courses.

Flipz Coaching Pathway

We offer a structured coaching pathway for gymnasts aged 13+ who are passionate about gymnastics. This pathway provides the opportunity to develop fundamental coaching skills, with the aim of building valuable life experience and preparing for potential employment.

Participants are mentored during weekly classes led by our experienced coaching team, ensuring consistent development and guidance. Their progress is logged at each level with an in-house training diary.

All stages of the coaching pathway include attendance at staff training days throughout the year, enabling participants to further expand their knowledge and coaching expertise.

Unqualified - Voluntary - Age 13+

Junior Assistant Coach
IGA Level 1 Qualification - Age 14+

Assistant Coach
IGA Level 1 Qualification - After 1 year of experience as a Junior Assistant Coach

Coach
IGA Level 2 Qualification - Age 17+
